Expedition Details

No one has ever been to the Arctic Pole making this a World First expedition.

An 800 mile journey from land to the centre of the ocean - which is 200 miles further than the walk to the Geographic North Pole.

Two teams of trained novices led by Jim McNeill will make the attempt.

Each team will undertake 400 miles of extreme mental and physical endurance. With the Magnetic North Pole planned as the changeover point.

The teams will gather crucial scientific data to benchmark the state of the disintegrating ice-cap.
